Hey Ponyfiddle!

I'm not sure the Obligatos would take the edge off of the fiddle you're asking about. These strings seem to accentuate the characteristics the instrument already has -- in this case, it may sound more edgy?? :?
I think Zyex was a good choice for this problem...

Still, it can't hurt to try the obligatos -- let us know how it works!

(and what's wrong with buyin' fiddles!!!) :)

Maybe I'll stick with the Zyex, then. They sure are fussy about rosin though, and I don't even use much!

Hey, I'm done buying fiddles. However, and I say this very clearly:
I made no mention whatsoever about being done buying BOWS.
